5 stage filtration explained:

1. Pre-filter

2. Electrostatic devices and dust collector: use the electrostatic field to make air-borne particulates above 0.01 micron was charged and absorbed. To prevent the kind of lead, cadmium, and other heavy metals which cause cancer, and kill bacteria and eliminate infectious diseases.

3. Activated carbon filter: consist of a vast system of pores of molecular size. These pores are highly adborbent, forming a strong chemical bond/attraction to odorous, gaseous such as  formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) and liquid contaminates.

4. Photocatalyst filter: Photocatalytic oxidation is achieved when you combine UV rays with a TiO2-coated filter. TiO2 refers to Titanium Oxide. This process creates hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions, which are highly reactive electrons aggresively combine wtih other elements in the air, such as bacteria and VOCs (Volatile Organics Compounds), which include harmful pollutants such  as formaludehyde, ammonia and many other common contaminates released by building materials and household cleaners generally found in the home.

7. 254n UV lamp: Ultraviolet light possesses just the right amount of energy to break organic molecular bonds. As micro-organisms pass by the UV rays radiated from the ultraviolet lamp, this bond breakage translates into cellular or genetic damage for micro-organisms, such as germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi(like molds), etc. This results in destruction of the micro-organisms.
